Dr. Daniel Bassiri

Dr. Bassiri is an attentive, conscientious and approachable physician. He grew up in New York and attended college at Cornell University in Ithaca, where he graduated in 2005. He went on to medical school at the New York University School of Medicine and graduated in 2010. He pursued Anesthesiology Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center which included training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Hospital for Special Surgery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, the certifying body for Anesthesiologists since 1938.
Currently Dr. Bassiri holds privileges at Mount Sinai's New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and Beth Israel Hospital. After realizing a need for well-trained university based Anesthesiologists to practice independently outside the hospital setting, Dr. Bassiri formed his private practice, providing personalized anesthesia care to surgical practices throughout New York.
Dr. Bassiri was selected to be a surveyor for The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities Inc (AAAASF) in 2016 to standardize and improve the quality of medical and surgical care in outpatient facilities. In this capacity he plays a role in effectively and efficiently integrating patient safety initiatives into all the facilities he serves.
